Honey Almond Baked Brie
Mmm I can almost taste this baked brie, Blair! This is one of my weaknesses. I feel like I could devour this whole wheel! I love the honey and almond combination. What a perfect appetizer for the holidays!
Ingredients
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 (8 ounce) round Brie cheese
- ½ cup chopped roasted, salted almonds
- For serving: sliced baguette or crackers
- Optional: a couple of sprigs of fresh rosemary and/or fresh thyme to infuse the honey
Instructions
- Frist, Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Then Place Brie on a small baking sheet. Bake about 10-12 minutes or until softened. Remove and let cool for about 5 minutes.
- Next, While the cheese cools, place honey and a couple of sprigs of herbs (if desired) in a small saucepan over low heat until warm; stir in chopped almonds.
- Then Spoon honey mixture over the Brie; garnish with additional herbs, if desired. Serve immediately.
- Enjoy!
